Luxury kitchen pantries to fit every space.
Ahh, the kitchen pantry. That wonderfully practical space where everything from crockery and mixing bowls, to spice racks and an enviable collection of olive oil is kept. They’re functional, useful, and can be used for whatever that kitchen and its owner needs. But they’re so much more than simply storage. A good pantry can be a thing of beauty, too. A space all of its own – whether it’s a large walk-in pantry, a bespoke pantry cupboard or simply, a few dedicated shelves.
Whether you’ve got a lot of space to play with, or not very much at all, have a look at the below pantry designs that prove luxury kitchen storage can come in all shapes and sizes.
Walk-in pantries
Canadian design studio AKB was enlisted to create a contemporary classic home enriched with character. For the walk-in pantry, the style of the soft white shaker kitchen was mirrored, creating a seamless flow between the two spaces, while shelving, cabinetry and marble worktops come together to create a useful, functional space. Light wood-panelled walls complement the drawers of the shaker pantry cupboard, resulting in a space that feels fresh, light and airy. The cabinet knobs and cup pulls from our Withenshaw collection in our aged brass (BEL) finish provide a timeless, traditional touch.
Walk-in pantries don’t need to be huge, and this snug space is proof. Natural stone, white cabinetry, open natural wood shelving and brass accents come together to create a luxury kitchen pantry. The mix of closed cabinets and open shelving allows for items that can be “hidden”, as well as easily within reach, while the addition of a sink and plenty of countertop space makes this small pantry multi-functional.

Becky Hillyard, the woman behind Cella Jane, enlisted McCroskey Interiors for a French modern-inspired kitchen. It’s a true entertainer’s space, so they added a walk-in pantry to act as the functional space for storage and food prep. It runs the length of the kitchen, with access to both the kitchen and back patio, when al fresco dining calls. Like any good kitchen pantry design, as much thought was put into its functionality as its aesthetics. There are deep fridge and freezer drawers hidden behind natural wood cabinetry, thoughtfully designed pantry shelving created to perfectly fit bottles, jars, and cups, and a cafe door that makes walking in and out hands-free a breeze.

Pantries are meant to be used. They’re meant to be functional, to aid prepping, cooking, and be a supporting act to the main kitchen. So why not have everything on show, within easy reach? This walk-in pantry by Unique Kitchens & Baths shows that open pantry shelving can be just as beautiful as a built-in cabinet. They used dark navy on the cabinets, walls and shelving, with a walnut countertop and handy ladder, and brass cabinet pulls and knobs from our Cotswold collection to add a touch of contrast. The pots, jars and spices stand out against the dark cabinetry – showing that sometimes, it pays to have them on display.

What this walk-in pantry lacks in size, it more than makes up for in style and functionality. A glass-fronted door separates it from the rest of the kitchen, leading into a space of black and white tiled flooring, wood panelled walls, open pantry shelving and deep pull drawers. The team at Holly Oak House used small touches of brass to add a classic element to this modern, luxury kitchen pantry.
Sometimes, the best bits of a kitchen are those little unexpected nooks. The surprises. This walk-in pantry is tucked behind the main event, and at certain angles, you wouldn’t even know it’s there. But between two floor-to-ceiling built-in cabinets, there it is: a pale pink pantry that’s part storage and prep area, part sanctuary. The open arched doorway is inviting and practical, allowing for seamless coming and going from the kitchen, and the use of different flooring and paint colours from the kitchen allows this luxury pantry to be truly its own.

Pantry cupboards
You don’t need a large space to create ample pantry storage – sometimes, you just need to be clever about how you use the space you have. Just ask Barcelona-based interior design studio, Deulonder. In this English-inspired kitchen, they hand-crafted and hand-painted each piece of the solid wood custom pantry cabinets. The double doors open to reveal all the clever details of the fitted pantry: open shelves, mounted spice racks, and deep drawers complete with our made in England brass Card Frame Pulls from our Cotswold collection.

With the doors closed, this bespoke pantry cabinet could just be another kitchen cupboard. But open? Its small space is fully maximised to create a built-in pantry cabinet that any cook would be proud of. The team at Holly Oak House created a bespoke spice rack to sit neatly inside the door, as well as useful drawers and shelves to fit everything a modern pantry cabinet could need.
Another modern pantry cabinet that blends seamlessly into the rest of the kitchen; clean cream-coloured wooden doors with our Grove Bamboo Cabinet Handles mirroring the cabinetry that surrounds it. But inside, it’s a whole other world. Holly Oak House created a built-in pantry cabinet in a contrasting oak stain that matches the kitchen island, and creates a distinguished space. Drawers, spice racks and open pantry shelving make it a functional space. And yes, there’s room for a coffee machine.

This is a masterclass in how to make a kitchen pantry cabinet a feature, not something to be hidden away. In this project, House Nine matched the pantry to the cabinetry in the rest of the room, painted in Dead Salmon by Farrow & Ball. Our 2325 Cabinet Knobs and Bakes Cabinet Handles in our dark bronze (DBZ) finish were used to add a timeless contrast to the pale pink. Inside, easy-to-reach spice racks and pantry shelving add practicality without taking away from style.

Bespoke pantry cupboards can come in all sizes – and this one by Tara Ashwell Design shows that even the smallest of pantries can be incredibly useful. Sitting atop the kitchen counters, this pantry doesn’t take up any extra floor space but inside, the open shelves keep everything neat and organised. In keeping with the rest of the room, our Bromwich Cabinet Handles in aged brass (BEL) were used on the bifold doors, resulting in luxury kitchen storage to suit modern life.
