It’s the most wonderful time of the year and in keeping with the season, we’ve been searching for some festive interior inspiration. They say the kitchen is the heart of a home and this could not be truer than at Christmas time when family and friends gather together to celebrate. No matter if you’re hosting Christmas dinner this year, or simply entertaining with an evening of drinks and canapés, we’ve gathered some beautiful setups to inspire dressing your kitchen for Christmas.
Set the table
For the main event, the table deserves a little extra attention and so creating a grand table setting brimming with candles, seasonal flowers and sophisticated glassware and dinnerware is a must for Christmas Day. Choose colours that complement your interiors and dress the surfaces around the table with fresh foliage and ornaments to bring even more magic to the room.
We adore how Becky Shea has dressed this kitchen, designed by Bakes and Kropp, for Christmas. With a heritage blue feature cabinet stealing the show and finished with hardware in polished nickel from our Queslett and Cotswold collections, the nickel accents are thoughtfully continued throughout with candlesticks and cutlery to match.

A natural affair
Sometimes less is more and for neutral kitchens in shades of grey and white, bringing the outdoors in is a wonderful way to welcome the spirit of the season. Think vases full of spruce, sprigs of holly and bunches of mistletoe that will not only style your space but, also had a fragrant touch too. To add to that effortlessly festive feel, add scandi-style decorations and a simple string of lights to bring a warm glow.
This modern country kitchen by Brayer Design looks instantly inviting. Dressed subtly for the Christmas season with just a few rustic ornaments, greenery and lights, it’s the epitome of understated luxury and works in harmony with the burnished brass hardware from our Cotswold collection.

Bright and beautiful
Opting for a pop of colour in a contemporary space works wonders. If your kitchen is designed for entertaining, then choosing just one or two decorations is all you need to make an impression. For an elegant look, choose contrasting bright flowers and fruits to draw the eye against your décor and let the beauty of the space speak for itself.

As seen in this kitchen by Digs Design co, the cabinets and drawers are adorned with polished brass Armac Martin hardware and the balance of beautiful marble and wooden surfaces need little embellishment. A flourish of vibrant blooms and the addition of a wreath hung high nod to the festivities without taking up too much space.
