'"The home transformation journey began with understanding the client's needs and wants for the space. They are a young family of four (six if you include the dogs) and they desired an aesthetically beautiful home, whilst functioning as a family home. Storage was key, especially in the playroom, and having the space to cook, dine and sit comfortably with family and friends was also a top priority."
Interior Insights: The Kitchen
“We took the large kitchen living area and decided to loosely separate the space into three zones, cooking, dining and sitting. We felt the main cooking space would work best centrally to the room so the chef always feels included, the living space would be suited to the closed end of the room with no access doors to maximise the seating space, this leaving the dining closest to the entrance door. Spatial planning is one of our favourite parts of the job, laying out a room to include all necessary functions and create lovely zoned spaces is so satisfying!"

“The owner of this property has a fabulous sense of style, wanting a muted, warm, natural palette with lots of texture and softness. Within this brief we were able to use some beautiful natural materials, for instance, the Italian marble splash back and worktop, the European oak island and glazed cabinets, and the polished plaster walls. Luckily for us at Brownlow, the kitchen design and materials resonate with our personal style, and following a few brave clients wanting to mimic the feel of our showroom kitchen and lounge, we have really found our own individual style."
“The Latchford cabinet pull by Armac Martin perfectly suits the simplicity and elegance of this space. We chose the Aged brass finish as we absolutely love the durability of it! It already has a beautiful natural patina so they fit perfectly with all the different brass colours on the appliances, sockets etc. We used a mixture of the cabinet knob, pull handle and appliance pull as the different lengths and shapes add a unique look and really push the bespoke kitchen aesthetic."

Interior Insights: The Bootroom & Playroom
Delving into the realm of mud, dog beds, toys and sticky fingers, for this Boot and Playroom we were tasked with being a space that would withstand daily family use whilst maintaining a sophisticated uncluttered look.
“In the Playroom we used two different Armac Martin handles, the Quinton and the Kingsheath. We feel this cabinetry perfectly shows our signature style of classic elements sitting next to contemporary additions. The toy storage closets to either side have a traditional feel with a correlating handle, whereas the central chest of drawers has a flat, sleek look, again with a handle that suits their style."
