Emily Pueringer on...

Inspiration...

I’ve always been inspired by contrasting elements - whether it’s a modern interior enriched by colourful elements or a classic setting flooded with eclectic art, these are my calling cards. I love to mix and match all the materials I use in my spaces, breaking the rules and switching things up to add unexpected interest.'

Favourite spaces...

‘I adore the kitchen in this project. My favourite feature is by far the terracotta Lacanche Range, I can't get enough of that gorgeous earthy colour.’

Interior Insights: The Kitchen

A place to gather and grow, the inviting kitchen features a warm-neutral palette with Emily opting for tones that work in harmony across different materials.

Features our Queslett Cup Pull and Latchford Cabinet Knob all in our polished brass unlacquered finish.

Emily’s light-filled farmhouse design harnesses the beauty of the curves found in the room’s architecture with arched doorways maintaining the open feel of the space whilst framing different areas.

Layered with interesting design accents to elevate the earthy aesthetic, hero pieces like the terracotta Lacanche Range, a textured rug runner and patterned tiled backsplash all bring a little rustic charm to the room.

Interior Insights: The Butlers Pantry

Playful orange grove wallpaper adds a charming pop of colour to this multi-functional pantry. Well-equipped with counter space for prepping and ample storage, luxurious creamy quartz countertops bring contrast to the warm wood and patterned wallpaper. Emily notes, ‘Butler’s pantries are functional for hosting and provide extra storage space - but I love them for a different reason. The room size is perfect to go bold and add a little drama to your interior.’

Features our Queslett Cup Pull and Queslett Cabinet Knob & Square Backplate both in our burnished brass finish.

Interior Insights: The En-Suite

Moving on to the en-suite bathroom where a mesmerising hand-brushed tile from Tabarka Studio conjures up visions of a Moroccan spa and makes an instant statement. A true retreat to escape and relax, the design is brimming with thoughtful layers that work to achieve a sophisticated bohemian feel.

Features our Latchford Cabinet Knob in our polished brass lacquered finish.

From the rich burnt sugar hexagon floor tile to the symmetrical double vanity, the captivating bathroom decor is completed with sleek brass accessories like wall lights, mirrors and cabinet hardware. Emily shares, ‘The golden rule to finishing any space is to never skimp on finishing touches - they make a true impact and statement in your new space.’

Interior Insights: The Workspace

Continuing the look of the rest of the Chateau Margaux interior, this workspace has a relaxed feel with soft cream walls keeping the room light and airy. Nestled in the primary bedroom, a duo of wooden floating shelves and matching desk top brings Emily’s signature warmth, whilst pared-back shelf styling frames the workspace and incorporates the rest of the natural colour palette.

Features our Queslett Cabinet Knob with Rectangular Backplate and Cotswold Card Frame Pull, both in our burnished brass finish.
